Snapdragon Inn First Floor Event
The Snapdragon inn is the perfect place to hold an afternoon event. Whether it's a birthday party, baby or bridal shower or just a casual get together. Sit down meal space for up to 25. Accommodates up to 60 in all first floor event spaces.
Event Includes:
- Use of the event space for a 2 hour block (includes ½ hr set-up and ½ hr take down) must be reserved between the hours of 11am-3pm.
- Use of first floor event space including lounge, dining room, reception room, library, back porch and restroom. (Unless you are renting out all of the rooms in addition to the first floor, this is non-exclusive use and there will be the potential for other guests to come and go as needed.)
- Use of 7 dining room tables with table cloths, 16 dining room chairs as well as lounge, entry and library furniture as is. (see potential add on below)
First Floor Event Add Ons: (each additional add on $50 per add on):
- Additional Furniture - 2 additional dining room tables, 1 folding table, 14 dining room chairs, and advert easel available for use. The additional furniture would be in the back hallway ready for you to arrange as needed.
- Furniture Arrangement - If you wish Snapdragon Staff will pre arrange tables, chairs, furniture etc to accommodate your event needs. (These plans will need to be arranged with the Innkeeper 1 week prior to the event date.)
- Catering Coordination - You provide Snapdragon Staff with a budget and menu and they will coordinate directly with the caterers. (Food costs not included.)
- Event Staffing - Snapdragon Inn has a limited supply of plates, stemware, cocktail plates, napkins, etc. for your use. If needed and additional staff member can be on hand during your event to help with serving, busing and clean up. ($50-$150 depending on event size and needs.)

Can we bring our own decorations?
Sure, we love for you to feel like the space fits your event and guests. Besides nails in our newly renovated walls we’re pretty flexible.
Can we use your plates and utensils? How much do you have?
Yes, under the Event Staffing add on you will see we can provide plates, stemware, cocktail plates, cups and glasses, napkins and table linens. We have round white dinner plates, cocktail plates, stemware and napkins for 20. There is a also a limited collection of glasses and stemware for beverages. Check with the Innkeeper ahead of time to make sure we have what fits your needs.
Can we rearrange the furniture?
Sure! As long as the furniture is back where you found it within the rented timeframe, the place is all yours.

Snapdragon Inn Wedding Package
Snapdragon Inn requires a wedding/event planner for all wedding packages. Snapdragon Inn can also assist by providing you with a list of local wedding vendors. We would be happy to show you around and discuss your wedding requirements.
Event Includes:
- Accommodations - Two night accommodations at the Snapdragon Inn, all nine rooms for wedding party use for up to 23 guests.
- Lawn & Main Floor Rental - Includes Snapdragon Inn main lawn, upper lawn event space, back porch as well as use of Maxwell Perkins Library, reception area, lounge and dining room. Main floor bathroom is also available but please see portable toilet requirements for larger events.
- Fresh, Local Continental Breakfast - All guests staying at the Snapdragon Inn will enjoy complimentary breakfast including local greek yogurts, fresh fruit and berries, waffle bar, a variety of maple spreads and syrups, and much more.

- Here Comes The Groom - It’s the groom’s special day too! Treat your soon-to-be husband to some pampering of his own. He will enjoy an invigorating scalp massage and shoulder massage to utterly relax him for the big day. Please note this is not a barbershop shave. Gratuity not included.

Snapdragon Inn can host your small wedding, with up to forty guests. We offer a variety of locations on our picturesque grounds and you may choose to hold your ceremony indoors or outside. Situated on over an acre of manicured lawns that are located next to hundreds of protected acres and a pond in Paradise Park, Snapdragon Inn is easily accessible, but feels private and nestled into a natural setting. The Main Lawn provides a wonderful location for outdoor ceremonies and tented weddings and events, and the grand porches, common rooms, and nine newly-designed guest rooms all allow for a fresh, intimate, and classic feel for any event.
