entry stairs

In my post on library inspirations I made a comment that mentions the idea of coordinating the bookcases in the library with the wood of the paneled stairway in the (adjoining) entry hall. So, for those of you who have not wandered the halls of 26 Main, here's what I'm referring to:



Both shots taken when our lovely friends the Seales were residents of the home. I love the stockings on the stairs, great idea Jill. :-)
