The Snapdragon Inn

As was pointed out in my first post on bathrooms, having places to put thing is essential in the bathroom. That's part of why I was a little hesitant to go with pedestal sinks, since I often find myself searching for a place to set something, ANYTHING down when using them.

I will for sure be putting a shelf on the wall behind the sink to help with some of this issue. However, I've also found a number of models that I think have enough of a ledge that you won't end up fishing you face wash out of the basin every time you go to use them. Here's what I've found so far.

1. Kohler Memoirs

I have to say, this one is my favorite. Ignoring the gold fixture in this photo, I love the lines of it, I think it fits our style really well. And check out that nice flat ledge all the way around!

2. Restoration Hardware Park

This comes as both a console and a pedestal; I'd use the pedestal, but I included the console pic as well since you get a better view of the top. Again, some nice classic lines with a decent ledge around the edge, but you do have that outer ridge. I can't decide if it's a good thing (keeps things contained) or a bad thing (takes up space that could be used for setting things on). Thoughts?

3. Restoration Hardware Chelsea

This one is a bit of a guessing game, since I can't see the top -- I'd have to drive to an RH and view it in person. (well, I'll have to do that with any of these, but RH is a bit of a hike for me) But I kind of dig the rounded underside of the basin and the little backsplash built in. I don't know anything about RH sinks though, are they any good? Anyone have any experience?

4. A couple of wildcards: Cheviot Mayfair and the Pegasus Structure

I am not in love with the shape of either of these, and don't know the brand at all, but they have the kind of side-of-the-basin space I'm looking for. The Pegasus comes in white (don't worry, no black sinks!!!) but you can't see it very well in the picture so I posted the black one.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
