Time goes by so slowly for those who wait
No time to hesitate
Those who run seem to have all the fun
I'm caught up
I don't know what to do
I don't mean to quote her like I am writing a research paper for high school although that would be a pretty sweet reference in the Bibliography... the words, that she didn't write, are pretty spot on in this particular moment. Not sure about the time going by so slowly because we have been concepting this Inn and trying to get to closing(today) since March and I really feel we are on the brink of PURE INSANITY. One day in March I was in the car with certain members of the family and they said, "Hey, the house next door is for sale, I think we should make it an Inn" and BAM, no hesitation( well very little), no waiting (not that we instigated), and we are off running and having fun (mostly). There are moments we are all left not knowing what to do but then we fitz out of that because we have permits to apply for, quotes to receive, calls to make, children to take care of, and other jobs to do so we can take care of said children.
AND now we have this blog we want to keep updated with this wee project we've got going. There is so much to be blogged about! I personally fell onto the blogging train before blog was a verb and found it an excellent way to keep in touch with my family for the 4 years Mike and I were overseas. As a wanna-be designer, blogs are a significant part of my day as I peruse the world wide web of ideas out there and we have favorites we have listed on our blogroll but that will grow as well, I'm sure. We are all very excited about this blog and we hope you come back and check in on us as we renovate, decorate and investigate so so so so many things!
