Even before closing our group began to meet and work on every facet of converting 26 Main Street into Snapdragon Inn. Management teams have formed for construction, permits, design, operations, finance, marketing, and landscaping. Inspiration boards filled with ideas, themes, and favorite items began appearing and filling with concepts. Room designs here, a porch design there, and everywhere an attempt to define the style and theme of our project. A lot of the discussions revolve around what Snapdragon Inn will not be and if you have enough of those conversations you are left with a refined list of concepts that work.
From the outset we began work with a local contractor
who we knew would be flexible and able to work on the varied level of finishes we would require. The contractor outlined some very obvious and basic work required before any renovations could begin and hammers started flying the first week of July. There will be a lot of hammers flying…
