Pure. Fresh. Vermont

That's what we offer at the Snapdragon Inn. Join us for a  relaxing getaway and explore the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire.

What a year at the Snapdragon Inn! It was the year all of you helped us see things happen at the Inn we had only imagined. We want 2015 to know the socks off 2014; the year of collaborations! We are ready for more visits, more retreats, and more collaborations. Make your perfect collaborations, plan your event, connect with the amazing sponsors, and then give us a shout at

we like to have fun: Come have fun with us

After attending in January, we had a visit from from DOOCE, collaborated with A BLOG ABOUT LOVE and had visits from several other amazing creatives like Sharon, Quiana, Da, Natalie, Richie,  Lisa, and The Alison Show. The Snapdragon Inn has an incredibly creative history and is the perfect gathering place for creatives like yourself!

Since opening in 2010, we have had hundreds of guests, had excellent feedback and received three consecutive Certificates of Excellence from TripAdvisor. Gordon Ramsay even stayed with us for a week and tweeted he "loved it"! (We all know he is a pretty picky customer.)

NOW IT'S YOUR TURN! you have an event you've been dreaming about? Is there a sponsor you are collaborating with but need a space? Perhaps you would love to invite a group of bloggers/creatives to a unique event hosted by yourself? Maybe you just need to get away...We want to make those dreams a reality.

Word on the street

Last February, Mara & Danny hosted their first ever retreat and it went off with a smash. You can read their recaps here : Part I and Part II

Mara said,

One of our guests said she was really nervous when she walked in the door for the event because she had never done anything like this. I told her I was nervous to meet everyone, too. But, we did it. We showed up. We were bravely vulnerable. We talked about life and love and happiness. And it led to uplifting conversations and connections that we never would have had otherwise. I feel inspired. I feel grateful for people out there willing to connect and gather together.

Sharon of NYC Taught Me, came up on the train for a weekend by herself. Read her blog post HERE and make sure to scroll down for her fiction story.

Sharon said,

I brought 3 notebooks and told everyone I was going on a writer's retreat. I did write a little. I filled about 15 pages in one notebook. But mostly I watched every episode of Between Two Ferns on my phone, walked in the woods until I was scared of bears, and bought a few postcards from an antique store downtown. I didn't want to leave. It was the perfect mix of work and play.
